PROJECT WAYFINDER PILOT
In partnership with Stanford Universities famous Hasso Platner dSchool, we are one of founding pilot partners to deliver the PROJECT WAYFINDER tool kit to engage Middle/High School students; integrating the dynamic experiential toolkit and practical application on our voyaging canoe, Kaigani.
Project Wayfinder is a collaboration between Stanford University and the Polynesian Voyaging Society.
Our toolkit is our contribution towards re-imagining adolescent education. Within it are the tools for our next generation to develop skills and wisdom to meaningfully contribute to our world. Our toolkit draws upon purpose development research, brain science, interviews with “purpose exemplars,” and practices from native wayfinding traditions. Together these pieces make for a yearlong meaning-making journey that unleashes purpose in our students and enriches the lives of our educators.
